Ambassador tier upgrade

The Ambassador tier is the highest level in the Middleman partner program. It's earned, not applied for — hit 20 paying referrals and it activates automatically.

What you get

15% monthly revenue share 15% of your active referrals' monthly fees, paid as platform credit every month. If you have 20 active referrals at $29/month, that's $87/month in platform credit.

Co-marketing placement Your name, company, and city appear in Middleman marketing materials — blog posts, case studies, social media, and the Ambassador wall.

Partner directory listing A dedicated listing on the Middleman partner directory, visible to all users and searchable by location and specialty. Drives inbound referrals back to you.

Quarterly strategy calls Direct access to the founding team quarterly to share feedback, see the roadmap, and help shape what gets built.

White-glove referral onboarding Your referrals get dedicated onboarding from our team — not self-serve. This improves activation, which improves your referral retention, which improves your monthly credit.

How Ambassador status is calculated

Ambassador status is based on active paying referrals — not total referrals. If someone you referred cancels, they no longer count toward your 20.

We track this in real time. Your dashboard shows your current active referral count. When you hit 20, Ambassador status activates automatically — no application, no waiting.

Maintaining Ambassador status

Stay above 20 active referrals and Ambassador status stays active. Drop below 20 and the status pauses (but doesn't permanently end — rebuild back to 20 and it reactivates).

Ambassador recognition

In Q3 2026, we're launching the public Ambassador wall — a page featuring our Ambassadors with photos, names, and companies. If you're in the Ambassador tier at launch, you'll be featured.
