What is the Founding 100?

The Founding 100 is the first — and final — cohort of founding members who get lifetime founding pricing on The Middleman.

There are exactly 100 spots. No exceptions.

Why 100?

When a new platform launches, the first 100 serious users shape everything: what features get built first, what workflows actually matter, what the product feels like to use every day.

We want those 100 people to be the best operators in the industry — catering managers, event directors, venue coordinators, and planners who run real events and will push the platform until it's actually good.

In exchange, they get pricing that never changes, regardless of how The Middleman scales.

How it works

Application: Fill out the application at /founding-100. We review every application personally — this isn't a credit card checkout, it's a conversation.

Onboarding: Once accepted, you get a personal onboarding call with our founding team. We walk through your specific workflow and configure your account for your use case.

Access: Immediate access to the full platform — including features currently in beta that aren't available to regular subscribers.

Pricing lock: Your founding rate is locked for life. The moment you're accepted, that price never changes for your account.

What we're looking for

We're looking for operators who:

• Produce 5+ events per month (or manage operations for a venue that does)
• Are willing to give honest, direct feedback when something doesn't work
• Have enough events running to really put the platform through its paces
• Are interested in shaping the product — not just using it

This isn't the program for casual event planners. It's for professionals whose livelihood depends on operations running smoothly.

Current status

53 of 100 spots have been claimed. When the 100th founding member is accepted, the program closes. Permanently.

After the Founding 100 closes, new subscribers join at standard rates — which will be higher.
